OFFTHEWALLSITE by Curro – “Pit Crew” tee (pre-order available now for a limited time!))

Hey guys, this one’s been in the works for awhile now, and we can proudly announce our next tee for OTWS. This time, one of our OG members, Izam, aka joni_loco, from OTWS Malaysia, has designed this cool graphic tee for us. Inspired by Steve Caballero, and his 20th Anniversary of the Half Cab, he decided to design his version of a Cab style dragon graphic, while incorporating a motorsports theme, which he shares a passion for. Cabby himself is a hot rod enthusiast, so hopefully he’ll like this one as well! Who doesn’t like a good ol’ fashioned race day shirt anyways? This has vintage hot rod steez all over it.

The tee is black, with cream or beige ink. There’s a chest hit, as well as a large back logo. No pocket this time, so the tee will be $20. This tee’s production will be strictly based on how many orders we get in. There will be a delay, as we are taking in the orders, to fund the print job. We’ll try to be fast, even if it means going to another printer who we haven’t dealt with before.

Mens tee sizes: S-3XL
Womens tee sizes: S-2XL

Shipping will be $6 per tee, via USPS, inside the USA, and $16 international.

Arkiv Art Solo Exhibition at TAG (Toy Art Gallery) on Aug. 4th (supported by OTWS)!

The Arkiv Art solo exhibition is right around the corner, at the Toy Art Gallery in Los Angeles, and we are proud to be a supporter of Arkiv Vilmansa, and his awesome art. He’ll be visiting us on August 4th, 2012, all the way from Singapore, and he’s got quite a few pieces to exhibit, including three custom Vans Era’s custom hand-painted by him, in his signature flowing “feathers” if you will. They are a thing of beauty, and we’re expecting a huge turn-out for this event. This isn’t his first show here, and it surely won’t be his last. He’s on the rise, and you all need to come and witness this guy before he’s too big to hang around all of us small people! Come and say you were an early supporter. In fact, we have teamed up with Arkiv to produce a small amount of tees for the event. Portraying the “bones” theme that the shoes will be displayed with, he came up with a custom design exclusively for us, and you can order one right now, over on our OFFTHEWALLSITE forums. Send a direct message to his manager, OTWS member shaztech, and he will be able to set you up with a pre-order, to possibly wear to the event, where Arkiv may sign it for you! The numbers are limited. We’re talking about less than 10 per each size, so send him a message, or email him at Don’t pass up this opportunity to own an awesome piece! Check out Arkiv Vilmansa’s work over on his site, and a few pieces he has for sale over on the TAG Webstore. He’s a truly amazing artist, and mark my words, he will be going places in the near future, and I’m glad that OTWS was given the opportunity to be a part of his growth and history!

Vans Syndicate x Starter – Snapbacks (Limited Restock @silostore)

This is more of an educational post, rather than a “where to cop” post.  Some of you who are new to Vans and Vans Syndicate may not know about some of the rare gems that they put out every now and again.  Well, let me take that back.  Rare, not so much…but hard to come by now days…yes.  The navy and red “New York” version released last year with the Rodney Smith collection, as a nod to the black and white first one that Vans Syndicate put out about 5 or 6 years ago I believe.  That’s the one in the picture as well.  That hat is a grail of many on OTWS, and can fetch a pretty penny on eBay, if it were to ever show up.  I haven’t seen one in over two years, until a few popped up overseas in Singapore recently, and have since sold out as well.  Well, yesterday Brant, owner of Silo, posted up that he had the black one available in store, along with the Rodney Smith version, and my mouth just dropped!  Some lucky person walked away with one serious collector’s piece right there.  Vans Syndicate was one of the first to bring the Starter brand back.  Long before snapbacks became all the rage, and definitely before the “S” became a serious contender in the sneaker community.  I’ve since learned my lesson, and I swoop up any merchandise or accessories that Vans Syndicate puts out, because no doubt they will become someone else’s grail one day.

OTWS – Series 5 “OTWS ARMY” Pocket Tee

We here at OFFTHEWALLSITE are proud to bring to you, our latest design for our ongoing capsule t-shirt collection.  This time we have three colorways available, each printed on a nice pocket tee.  Everyone loves pockets!  Available in the standard black/white that we always do, but we figured the white/navy and heather/burgundy versions would do quite nicely as well, being that Summer is right around the corner.  Match these up with your favorite pair of W)Taps!  For this release, we went with … Read More

Vans OTW – Collection Preview (Fall 2012)

The Vans OTW group has been hard at work, perfecting their line, and polishing the look of the lifestyle they portray.  Catering to that person who wants to look a little bit more sophisticated than the rest of us.  Sometimes you just gotta look good, while walking your pug, and sippin’ on an ice cold PBR.  I kid!  I kid!  They’ve stepped up the quality, and have even sourced Vibram brand outsoles for their Breton boot.  They mean business.  The look that OTW has achieved this season is simple, clean, slimming, and should fit right in for the Fall, and with previews like this, it looks like OTW is aiming for the top of the Vans mountain this year.  No longer the little brother to Vault and Syndicate, they want to be heard, and this preview should do the trick.  Agree?

Bread & Butter – Vans Preview (Fall/Winter 2012)

Words via Hypebeast:

“On display at the recent Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin, Vans recently presented a comprehensive glimpse into its forthcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Notable amidst the range of Authentic, Era, and Sk8 Hi silhouettes, an amalgam of Hawaiian floral prints and understated Navajo patterns are mocked up in bold chromatic hues and tones. Distressed canvas aesthetics maintain a strong presence while further application of the unique patterns are seen across a range of snapback hats and backpacks. Affirming its ability to blend modern prints and timeless silhouettes, the Vans Fall/Winter 2012 range will be offered later this year through select stockists worldwide.”

Vans x Hello Kitty – Apparel Teaser (Fall/Winter 2012)

I admit, we don’t post up that much information about Vans Girls product, but I do when I feel that it’s something worth sharing.  No doubt, the Hello Kitty collaboration was the best girls release of the past year.  HK fans are just as much of a hype beast as us sneakerheads, and when these two worlds collided, well, it was history in the making.  Well, we are glad to share that the Hello Kitty x Vans collection will be back this year, and this time, they are focusing on apparel.  We have a few teaser shots of a few new items, recently previewed at the Agenda trade show in the LBC, thanks to Highsnobiety.  Seen here is a backpack with Hello Kitty’s face and a “3D” bow, and a few teasers of a few tees.  Stay tuned for more info!
