Vans x HKIT – Half Cab Pro “The Last Dragon” (Hong Kong exclusive)

Hong Kong skate shop HKIT, has teamed up with Vans to create this rad black and red Half Cab.  Given the name “The Last Dragon”, these have a few contrast panels on the shoe that consist of embossed dragon scales, that obviously tie into that theme.  The black nubuck suede is subtle, but couldn’t have been paired up better for this shoe.  The red accents seen in the lining, round waxed laces, and on the mid lace eyelet are the perfect finishing touch on these.

Vans x FLY Streetwear – Rabbit Era (Release Party pics)

Sorry I’m barely finding out all of this info now, but I guess better late than never!  FLY held a pretty nice get together for the release of the Rabbit Era.  Check out the awesome Vans beer cuzi’s that are seen throughout the crowd.  I also see a few Syndicates on feet.

Vans x FLY Streetwear – Rabbit Era (China exclusive!)

Vans has teamed up with mainland China’s O.G. and most prominent skateshop FLY, to bring to the locals this awesome Era collaboration.  You might know them from their early on collaboration with Nike SB on the “Milk Blazers”, where FLY owner Jeff Han’s picture was featured on the shoe.  Well, Vans wants to expand it’s market into China, and they’ve already opened a Vans store with the help of FLY, so it seems fitting that a collabo was in the works as well.  First off, I’m just going to say that this might be a shoe that will be in the top 5 collaborations of the new year.  The cream/off white suede is simple, yet elegant, and the rabbit fur tongue is the kicker.  How many pairs of Vans do you have with rabbit fur on them?  It’s a sign of good luck, and a nod to the “Year of the Rabbit” that these shoes are being released in.  The red top eyelet and inner lining  give just enough contrast to these otherwise plain looking shoes.  I need these!  They’ve already released in China, so keep your eyes open on eBay for a pair!  Peep the video below, and check out more pics after the jump.
