Does it matter if they're plastic or wood in your opinion?
I read somewhere that wooden ones are the best for leather shoes.

The pig suede on these is incredible!
Btw I didn't do the lace up,it arrived laced this way.

Are the Ikea ones plastic?

Think I'll be ordering a 9,hard to return these so hope they fit...

I was wondering which ones are good and if it depends on the model which ones you should use.
Anyone who can offer some info?

Thanks for your reply. TH used these as a base for one of his boots,now that's interesting. I've seen them in brown and black so far,at online outlets just like you pointed out. :D Wondering if that's pig suede.... Thinking about ordering them...not a really cheap shoe though even at the outlets. ;)...

Soles are non-waffle as well,more like vibram soles. Noticed these's also a strange tag at the back/side of the shoe but can't read what it says? [...
