i think they kept it really military -- so that type of mil spec and nothing more. Even the arrow was sourced from vintage, so he kept away from doing any tattoo flash etc.

they do not. its an olive drab / grey tonal standard syndicate box... matches the lace bag. think thats what kept the price reasonable at 80 os msrp and 90 sk8 msrp. otherwise would have been 95 and 105.

Sk8 hi tongue has elastic straps and is completely same coated canvas material --- BUT then stitched in underneath is a layer of padding - so it looks unstructured but should stay put and the padding protects and makes it feel more secure on the foot.
