Vans x MadeMe
“A devoted Vans fan, designer and MadeMe impresario Erin Magee joins forces with Vans with this special release for Holiday 2010. For the Vans project, Erin’s design journey began by taking favorite images from vintage issues of INTERVIEW magazine and combining them with her own hand-painted artwork in collage form. Inspired by the late 80’s and early 90’s music, nightlife, art and fashion in NYC, Erin captures the essence of that time and blends it into two of Vans’ latest girls’ styles, the Camryn and the Wellesley.”
A little something for the ladies, even though i dont think we have any here. Uuuh , the girlfriends, mistresses and wifes.

Looks cool. I like her style and the small glimpses we got of the shoes. Vans has been doing some good stuff for the ladies. MOB, Stussy. . . This looks like it'll be good too. Well see.
Someone should try to get in contact with her and inform her of the site! We need some females!

From Highsnobiety

After we showed you the video the other day, we can give a detailed look at the sneakers from the MadeMe x Vans Holiday 2010 collaboration. The New York womens brand worked on two silhouettes of Vans – the Camryn and the Wellesly. The Camryn is very similar to the classic Vans Chukka and the Wellesly takes quite some design elements from the Sk8 Hi. Both sneakers come in black premium leather versions and are now available online here.
Many more detailed images of the sneakers follow after the jump.

Definitely digging 'em as well, especially the all black pair! I feel like these she accomplished exactly what she said she wanted to with this set. Awesome stuff!
