Camera advice?

Sup guys. I'm in the market for a good camera and wondering if anyone has any gems to share with me.

For DSLR I'm thinking Canon T2i or Nikon 5100. My company gets a nice discount without Panasonic so I'm also checking out the Panasonic GF2 (micro four thirds). I love both the DSLRs and they seem pretty comparable, but I also love the size of the Panny.

Seems like everyone on the forum is into DSLRs. If anyone cares to share their opinion on Canon vs. Nikon, I'd appreciate the insight.

Mahalos!

WHat's wrong with the G11? Did you get it fixed? Wanna sell it? I was in the market for a G12...so yeah, hehe.

It's still broken B. It's at least $150 to fix and I really prefer an interchangeable lens camera. I accepted the g10 thinking I'd be content but I just got a nice freelance gig that'll pay well. I'd rather put the $150 toward a camera that'll keep me happy for a while.

Yeah, it's a G10.

Talked to my boy, he said he's cool with my trading it in since he doesn't need anything from Canon. So I think I'll be getting the T2i.

I had a g9 but the screw lose inside fried the board.
So $195 to fix so I got a used g12 4 months old $235 on cl
Love the camera easy to use.

Are you only focusing on taking pictures? I think that picture wise i would get a canon, but if you want something that you can shoot HD video with and you want a panasonic product. I would go with Panasonic GH2. great camera!
