I was watching them a few weeks ago and they didn't sell, so they went back up again... I always thought those would sell for more? I know I've seen 'em go for way more than that, which is why I never even thought about picking 'em up, even though I like 'em a lot. Glad I got 'em for a seemingly good price!

Dogtowns look weird. Aren't they supposed to be all canvas, like og cw Eras? Blue suede looks darker than it's supposed to.

Hehe, my Dad listened to Van Halen when I was a kid, so I know ALL of their hits. I think we still have all of their tapes too. I mostly remember the "Dreams" video, cause as a kid, like most kids, I was into fighter planes and shit, and they had the Blue Angels in that video. What the hell are kids into these days? Cartoon and videogame characters? Hehe, they're probably actually into Nike SBs!

Crimson, Vans released a special pack of shoes when the Dogtown movie came out in 2000.

The Navy/Red colorway was the OG colorway that Tony Alva wanted for the Era. Yes, they were originally in canvas, but for this particular release they made them suede. I have a pair and the quality of the suede along with the construction of the sole is significantly better than any other pair of Vans I've seen made since then.

Vans did release another Navy/Red suede Era within the last year and you can find them at Vans outlets occasionally, but like I said, the quality is not as good as the ones you posted. In addition, the Dogtown ones come with a dog tag and a thick cardstock picture of Dogtown riders.

I just won those Vans skate shoes. Hehe, I offered $60 on them + $20 shipping, and I guess he had it set to accept for that price. I hate that, cause I always wonder what his lowest price was, haha! But still, you have no idea how rare Vans rollerskate shoes are! Thanks for the heads up once again! Buying shit I don't need FTW!
