Resellers are really kicking themselves after picking up those Star Wars Vaults.

Hahaha, I've been pumped about it! Been able to double up on the sk8-hi's and pick up the era's, slip-ons and yoda half cabs for cheap! I'm actually kind of shocked that they're not more sought after, but then again, the market was flooded with Star Wars Vans last year (I think there were 20 different pairs released last year), so the Vault designs might not appeal to the average Star Wars collector. Might not realize the quality difference and most likely don't get/care about the historical Vans references.

Kyle I was surprised as well. Either the market was flooded or fans weren't really digging the fashion forward approach, either way good news for us collectors. In a year or so when all the remaining pairs on eBay eventually sell, those who passed will be regretting not grabbing a pair (myself included )

Yeah, the Vaults definitely got lost in the sauce of Star Wars Vans. Not really sure Vans could've done anything else to make them even more special, except maybe made them a SD Comic Con exclusive? But then these wouldn't have reached all over the world for a retail price (respective to that country's currency exchange rate). It would be sort of like a Blends release. You're damn near stuck buying from a reseller.

So glad they didn't do an SDCC exclusive! I've already had to resign myself from thinking I'll ever be able to go back to SDCC cuz it's so hard to get tickets and other arrangements without paying an arm and a leg these days...

Yeah man, it's so crazy how SDCC has become, since I was a kid, collecting comics and shit. It was no big deal to go to SDCC back then. This was like 93-95?

I was lucky enough to go back in '06 and '08. Seemed by '10 it was pretty impossible to even get tickets and even if you could, hotel prices were insane.
