Yeah, in this pic there's a slip-on and most of the news stories about 'em mention a slip-on, even if they aren't picturing it.



I don't think it should ruin it for you, just don't get it. haha The sk8-hi is awesome. The slip-on is looking pretty bland.

Lol yeah I noticed in the first post there actually is slip ons. I just think it'd be awesome to just bring out Sk8-HIs alone. I remember seeing the Slip-Ons now that I think of it. I rest my case, they're hideous.... lol. I just think it's weird bringing out an awesome shoe and a piece of shit shoe in the same collection. And not to mention they don't remind me shit of Gorilla Biscuits. I understand where the Sk8s are aiming though.

Haha, deleted post? Band collab slip-on's seem best suited for putting a logo or album art on... Or like, anything but just gray canvas? haha I imagine the GB will be embroidered on the heel and it looks like the gorilla is in the lining, but that doesn't really strike me as enough.

I like how subtle the sk8-hi is, but the slip-on is almost too subtle. The blue foxing also works better on the sk8-hi I think, although it ties the two together nicely.

Lol yeah man I heard people bitching about a green foxing on the Sk8s but I think that just happens to be the lighting of the released pictures. I think the green foxing on the slip ons are for sure though. Looks like it. Lining on Sk8s are lyrics I think. Wouldn't doubt if there's "Start Today" lyrics all up in there.

Yeah, pretty sure those are lyrics for the sk8-hi's. I can't tell with that lighting if that's a light blue or light green foxing, but I think they do match on both. Although it does look a bit more blue on the sk8-hi's and a bit more green on the slip-ons, but that could be due to the lighting.

99 red baloons........ 7 seconds version is banging. it was the anthem in my scene in Jogja, indonesia. a long with TYF's hardcore pride and Die Hard Youth's youth 'r us.

Along with being a big Vans collector, I'm also a big fan of Paul Frank... Thought this was pretty cool and it kinda belongs to be mentioned here, in case anybody might be interested. Definitely out of my price range, but maybe one of you guys will be into it!
