What's wrong with those? There was an entire batch of samples that released with white laces in the shoes, and many production pairs were made without the fabric Vans tab sticking out from the lace strip. To me, those look legit. What's the source?

I read that from Indonesian local forum, and the people said that the seller get those wtaps from taobao. I believe those are fakes because the 'seller' in that local forum have bunch of 003 sk8 hi with complete size, all with white laces and no box, which quite suspicious for me.

It's absolutely sketchy but plausible that they're legit samples he has saved.. As far fetched as that seems. I'd definitely ask for more photos. And Taobao is known to sell fakes but they also have legit dealers through their site. I agree with you two but I would investigate further than that one picture.

All them Vans on that site are fake yo. Take a closer look at some of the other models. Hosoi Era's, 005 Navy W)Taps Chukkas, and so on. All fake.

Ah okay, see that's the meat I needed to judge them. I totally missed Resist's link. Those are all dead give-aways man. I only raised question at that one picture, I was more or less saying that finding 003 Bones with white laces doesn't immediately suggest that they're fake.

I know. But I have definitely seen sample pictures on there multiple times that turned out to be exactly what dropped months later. The Blends Sk8 Hi was on there 6 months before any word was public, but the sample pictures didn't say "Blends" anywhere so I wasn't sure where it was going to release.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't buy anything from them. I only say there's legitimacy on that site because the sample info can be on point.
