Also, here's an email conversation I had with him thru eBay:

"Hey there Todd, I am so glad you posted up a limited pre-sale for these. xxx sent me photos of these about a month back, and I was sure that I wasn't going to be able to get a pair, without making a trip to Albuquerque, and I was seriously considering it! Anyways, hope all's well, and I try to get at least one shoe from each year's event. So far I'm on track. Also, we had to change our Offthewallsite name, for legal reasons, but it's all good. It allows us to grow, and become more independent. Less restrictions! We're still on good terms with Vans. We help them, not hurt them. I will post up pics and let others know that they can pre-order pairs on your eBay page. They're more expensive than what we're used to seeing from you guys, but it's going to a great cause. yeah just this one shoe is gonna run more, there is only 100 pairs of these being made and we still have to pay cabby his due and Pendleton has doubled their price since we started this.... so on and on they are getting higher, the other styles will be lower but we may only get to do Half Cabs one time, so these may be it.

Hey, what can I say! I'm a true sneakerhead. I share the info AFTER I got my pair, lol. By the way, I was hesitant to drop that $150 at first, and that was before Todd emailed me back, telling me there were only 100 pairs. I think that if I posted up the info, and I didn't purchase the pair, then others would be like "they're crazy asking $150 for these!", when in actuality, it's priced like some Taka Vaults, and has some authentic pendleton materials in it. After the success of their past releases, and the stolen trailer event, and the All Gone book feature, the ANSJ Vans are on people's radar now, and probably as long as they keep doing it.

Psst...look what he posted earlier today! Preorders are up for the other 2014 shoes, and a few random sizes of the previous year models. No Black Sk8-Hi's though. Hmmm. Oh, and the black Slip-Ons received gum soles for the final production I guess.

I just paid for the beige sk8-his. Thank god it was a slow day for UTPL because I had to wait to get paid and there was only one sz 10 lol!!!

Yeah man, people are sleepin' on that beige Sk8-Hi. I ordered that one too.

The quality in the half cab is out of this world. So so good!

According to Jesse, his assistant who is in charge of the eBay account, the black Sk8-Hi got cut from the lineup and instead they're releasing an event exclusive pair, called the 3/4 high called a calf-hi. I imagine it's either that Vault ponyhair one, that had a slanted cut at the top, or it's those checkered sk8-hi's that are meant to flap over. That sounds like an awesome shoe to turn into a native american inspired design.

Anyone know when the preorders on the half cabs get sent out?

They said after the event, so hopefully any day now!

Finally got an email with a tracking number. I should receive them on Monday hopefully!!!

I emailed them yesterday, and got a response today saying that they've been mailing them out all week. That's promising!
