“The feather carries a symbolic meaning across many different cultures. For some, it stands as a symbol of good fortune – in Native American culture, the feather is a symbol of honor and strength. This spring, the Vans OTW Collection channels these sentiments into a capsule of apparel and footwear for the Feathers pack. Custom feather embroidery adorns three silhouettes; the Lasdun, Ludlow and Howell exhibit the pattern on each set of canvas quarter panels. Tonal pig suede detailing, waxed laces, metal eyelet and laser-etched tongue branding completes the selection of sneakers. Additional usage of the custom embroidered motif can be seen throughout the Myers short and Eldridge 5-Panel. The Flock tee rounds off the apparel assortment with screen printed feather graphics pressed against the lightweight cotton top. The Feathers pack ships this March to select retailers as the final spring offering from the Vans OTW Collection.
