This summer, two influential brands in skateboarding, Vans and Alltimers, come together to debut the latest evolution of the Old Skool, to introduce the all-new Old Skool Sport Pro. The highly-anticipated Vans Pro Skate collaboration honors Vans and Alltimers’ light-hearted and irreverent brand personas, taking the skateboarding staple into the VIP Lounge with an all mesh execution, accented with cotton webbing and reflective binding.
Immortalized in skateboarding culture as a truly unconventional and not-so-serious luxury skate brand, Alltimers launched in 2013 with a collection of uniquely-shaped skateboards, premium apparel and accessories. Inspired by pop culture iconography, Alltimers’ design philosophy mixes high and low, achieving their own signature look and feel, amplified by their eccentric and often humorous marketing approach.
For their Vans capsule, Alltimers created an out of this world narrative, where aliens have taken over the planet. With the survival of mankind in their hands, Alltimers present a space-age Vans Old Skool Sport Pro design, with direct influence taken from aliens with giant lasers attacking the masses.
