Vans and KARL LAGERFELD are pleased to announce the launch of an exclusive Vans x KARL LAGERFELD capsule collection in Fall 2017. Featuring 12 styles, the collection reinterprets Vans’ renowned classic styles through the lens of the iconic fashion house, for an effortlessly cool result. The Vans x KARL LAGERFELD designs will be revealed for the first time to the public at the Bread & Butter trend show in Berlin, from September 1 to 3, 2017. The collection will launch worldwide on September 7 at KARL LAGERFELD boutiques, select Vans accounts, Vans.com and KARL.com.
The Vans x KARL LAGERFELD collection is a Parisian-chic twist to Vans’ timeless classics. The apparel and accessories offering makes a bold statement with a two-toned palette in black and white. Styles include a t-shirt and sweatshirt with the Vans x KARL LAGERFELD logo; a t-shirt with an image of Karl Lagerfeld wearing a checkerboard tie; a black and white raglan sleeve bomber; a premium leather backpack with K-quilted stitching; and a cap with a checkerboard brim.
The Vans x KARL LAGERFELD footwear includes six interpretations of Vans Classic styles, including the debut of the SK8-Hi Laceless Platform and the Old Skool Laceless platform, both outfitted in luxe leather with K-quilted stitching atop white platform soles. The offering further includes a solid black leather Classic Slip-On finished with K-quilted details. The Old Skool and Sk8-Hi Reissue receive premium leather uppers that have been outfitted with bouclé fabric quarter-panels atop a black outsole. Rounding out the assortment, Vans’ legendary black and white Checkerboard Classic Slip-On has been remastered with a Vans x KARL LAGERFELD cameo print.
