I picked up a pair of the Metallica Half Cab and am pleased with it. Had to do one mod though…removed the Metallica tag from the tongue

Can anybody tell me if the Dirty Donny's, Taka's, Mofo's and Stevie's Half Cab using pigskin suede?

I assume yes Izam. The texture of pig suede is like a really short hair material.

The Obey Halfcabs were a 1 of 1 done by Shepard himself for the 20th Anniversary Halfcab Show.miles_hi wrote:saw these today in seattle.

just saw these in high snob --- I have no extra info at this time...
almost looks to me like the GR black only with leopard sewn in...but thats only on this first glance...no 20th tag etc...Continuing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic Half Cab, Vans presents another limited edition version of the Steve Caballero signature shoe this month.
Coming with a black suede base, the sneaker features leopard fur accents on the ankle padding, side panels and the toe box.
Look out for a release in the coming weeks.

Yeah, no 20th tag and it has the curved toe bumper without the duracap... But who knows! Definitely one I may be after!
