sk8-hi decons for me, if anything... depends on the materials / minor details. the whole pack looks pretty weak / uninspired although i do like the vulc on that cab. more details may change my mind on the sk8-lo or half cab, but i don't like all black slip-ons (exception: tommy guerreros) and don't like laceless eras/auth's.

Just over three years ago, the greatest heavy metal band of all-time (especially in terms of album sales) collaborated with Converse on a duo of Chuck Taylor hightops.  That 2009 two-pack featured album art from Ride the Lightning in celebration of its 25th anniversary along with another covered in an early Pushead drawing.  We see an interesting bit of ‘Lincoln and Kennedy’ here as a few years later, on the precipice of Kill ‘Em All‘s 30th birthday and the second Pushead x Nike SB collaboration, the Metallica x Vans Classic pack brings us the closest thing Vans has to an All Star (the Sk8-Hi) along with a Slip-On, both featuring bloody hammers from the KEA album art.  Check them out in greater detail after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for next summer’s release info.  via EU Kicks

also heard they are doing 3 other album shoes after kill em all, hopefully they are ride the lightning, master of puppets and and justice for all.......no load or re load vans please haha

got the word the Half Cabs are hitting online only 10/1 and maybe select 3rd party retailers as well.

The half cabs are available at any Vans Pro Skate retailer starting 10/1.

got the info, the vans stores here in san antonio are getting them
