Oh, that's a recent release. Very nice shoe though.

I'm off today, so I'm gonna be heading down there to see which colors look best to me. I'm still leaning towards the grey halfcabs...and maybe black or maroon old skools. We'll see. I may come back with nothing, hehe.

Guam, let us know what the stock is like there. I was thinking about the grey half cabs too.

I just purchased the Black Old Skools on their site.....hopefully I don't get disappointed when I get them.....we'll see in about a week.

It looks like these will be there for awhile. The Maroons look dark red, not like the press pics. I was hoping for a color closer to Dr. Marten boots, but nope. It's like a dark red. A good Supreme color though! They fit snug IMO, and let's just say, I hope that Vans doesn't start using these soles for every model! I bought the grey halfcabs. What about the soles didn't you like? Lack of overlap?

I love the color of the soles, but I don't like this rubber they're using. These would've looked way better with the standard gumsole rubber. I do not like the flat heeltabs. I am on the side of the OG overlap styling. I think this rubber is longer lasting though, with less "shredability". It should also be easier to clean.

Ah, yeah, I get ya. I do miss the lack of overlap, but I don't necessarily mind it as long as it is a rare occurrence. I actually kind of like it as a super rare amendment to a collab or something. Kinda like how I like when they omit the toe guard. Subtle, unique differences are what I love about a lot of these releases.

What kind of rubber did they use on the midsole? Gr rubber?

It's that hard rubber that you guys talk about, on some newer releases. The shinier one, that's sort of easier to wipe down. Sort of like Converse Chucks?
