Skor: I'm passing on these because of the materials. I think its a shoe with a "Luxury" theme, but done in canvas and a little bit of suede. I think the thing that MADE the Syndicates was the materials, they were really nice, and that includes the leather inside, its super soft and the shoe came out super nice. Plus I think the unpainted eyelets stand out too much, they look raw and unfinished and unrefined as does the whole shoe. The Syndicates had one constant theme and they stuck to it, this isnt a very versitile model, as alot of the other core shoes are. Keep it simple and clean.

I actually like the use of the canvas and unpainted eyelets. But then I also tend to prefer canvas and smooth leather to suede, so that could be part of why this is appealing to me in that sense. I feel like these look like they'll be great shoes to wear to work in the summertime. It's like a more "spring/summer" version of the syndicates, since the use of the canvas will make them more breathable.

agreed but these would still make great beaters. I still wish they made navy syndicates,
