Was the yellowed sole from being on display or just over time? I've never seen that harsh of a yellowing on DS Vans before, that's why.

I NEED those OldSkools too Cris. The Old Skools actually set off my Jason Jessee trip, and now I want them all. They never never never come up for sale. Rainier has an 8 on eBay for like $250 something, if one of you guys can afford it!

TomCat: The soles were yellowed from being on display for a few years at Flight Club. Their computer showed that they were there for over 900 days, but I know for sure they weren't. I would've seen them! Especially on the site. I think they took them down, to try and clean em up or make room for newer stuff, but I was so sad that they were oxidized. I do hope that seaglow will help them out a bit. The rubber isn't all dry yet, but miniscule cracks are starting to show in the foxing stripe. The other pair is brand new, because it was kept in the dark, in the box. Nothing happened to that one at all, so I can't wear them, until they look similar. Either I try and clean, or paint the sole, or I just yellow the other one. Sucks.

The outdoor pics are the most recent. The indoor ones were from before and during my cleaning process. It's coming along, I guess.

^ I keep looking at those, and even offered before, the pair I'm getting is waaaaaaay cheaper though, haha.

Ooh, I was under the impression that the whiter sole was one you'd worked on already... Now I get it. One shoe was on display while the other was still in the box. Man, now that IS a dilemma! Good luck with that!

I have the same problem, foxings of my vintage Eras are also yellowed, and I don't know what to do about it.
JJ's are great shoes, hope you'll fix them.

Lol. I thought you cleaned the white one too. Good thing you didn't buy online. I'd be pissed! But very nice pick up. They're way too hard to find. And way underrated! My only beef with them is they're SUPER heavy.

yo Guam I saw them online for quite sometime but they were an in-store only due to that fact! was gonna ask someone in LA to go check them out for me but decided to pass. Dope pickup and good luck on the restoration!

Yeah man, I gotta try and get them cleaned up. Its a shame FCLA let them get like this. They don't give a shit cause they are making their money off them sitting there. Its also the resellers fault for marking them up super high originally. There's no way these wouldve sat in there for 3 years almost at $150. There's more to the story with these, that we won't ever know about!
