i find it somewhat disturbing a shop is ok w/ selling that many pairs to one customer...especially since they are multiple sizes, its surely just for flipping...its not like any spot is going to have to work that hard to sell out these releases. just my 2+ cents.

I normally wear an 8.5 but I got a 9.....since they didnt have an 8.5 in stock.

They seem to fit good..... only wore em around the house so far.

The difference in 8.5 vs 9 is minimal.... I think .5cm.

I might buy an extra pair to trade for something else or sell to get another shoe I want.... that would be about it.

I guess i am self appointed rules nazi when it comes to that stuff...and probably should keep my opinions to myself....I just have to fight for every pair in my inventory allocation wise, and like to see them go to good people...and then to see a shop not even care and just let em fly (*again, assuming/guessing, and speaking more generally than in this instance) to anyone in a chunk like that goes against the entire reason these were made in the first place.

I imagine Vans can't track all of that down, and the guys at the top probably don't care. Just the guys who work directly with Syndicate do. I think the Syndicate group is trying really hard too, to take the brand back into their own hands, because shops are dropping Syndicates left and right, for unknown reasons, and hopefully it's for restructuring reasons. Here's a chance for other shops to give them the shining light, instead of Nike SBs. Shops like Silo, here, who really value what Syndicate does, and helps get that message across. All of their releases have either a great story, company, artist, or special material that is showcased on their shoe, and sometimes seeing more than one of those things on a release. How many Nike releases have that? A few? They don't really co-brand anything.

Crap, too bad I didn't see this earlier! If you noticed they have 10's in any of those, let me know. Especially if I can use our previously discussed trade as currency to pay for part of 'em. haha

Just got back. Picked up sz10 in Navy Mid and Burgundy Authentic for myself. Got a sz 8 Navy Mid for Stylz (only person who texted me). The employee said the navy's were disappearing. No more 8-9 & 10 Navy Mids for sure. There was a 10.5 Navy i tried on. He mentioned there was 2 sz 10's in Black. Also there was authentics in 8-9 and 10 for sure.

Rocketgoof: Stylz said he had a 10 in black. So try to ask him about it now that I got him an 8. I'm going to sell him the Navy 8 for 80$ so maybe he can give you a deal. If not, maybe I won't give him one cause I did do that price for love to OWTS.

I asked about that navy size 8 for TomCat and they told me it was on hold. Guess the guy never picked them up so they put them back in the stock.

Ooops. Those were the 8's I took. He said there was no name on them and I guess no one came and claimed them earlier. So when I asked for the size range 8-9 he said that was the only mid he had and said I can buy them if I wanted them.

Somebody took my fucking Navy Sz. 10 Sk8-Mids from Jacks. I had them on hold along with the Black pair too. Bullshit.

^^^ I might have but I called during the day to hold the Navy and Burgundy Authentics both size 10 yesterday. When I got there I asked for my shoes on hold for Hector and he gave me, behind the counter, Black Mid sz 10, Burgundy sz 10, and Navy Mid sz 8. I said I asked for a Navy 10 and he walked back to the shoe section and pulled out the last 10 =\ . So I took the 10 in Navy and Burgundy as well as the 8 for Stylz.

So someone else could have taken your on hold cause the Navy I got was the Display shoe. Sucks though, the employee did mention that they're not allowed to hold shoes for anyone. So maybe if some just asked for it they sold it like I got the 8's.

Thanks for the help Luis. Sad to hear of some of the confusion at stores. I know my local shop will not hold any limited release stuff, which is a bummer, but I can understand it from their point of view. I am still on the hunt for a navy pair in an 8, heck, I'll even take a black pair.

Hey guys, some good news, if you are willing to settle for the black mids, and both Authentics. Utility Board Shop in Covina, and La Verne, will be putting these out tomorrow. I stopped by Covina tonight, on the way to dinner, to pick up a sz12 black Luke Meier that they still had in stock (also have 9 & 9.5 left I think), and they just got in the Authentics over there, but no Sk8-mids. They might have split up the release between their SoCal stores. La Verne might be your next best bet, or their desert locations. They are on their web shop, but not for purchase there. Phone orders might be welcome, but not sure. The blog states that they're in store only, but who knows. The workers didn't know anything about the release, as expected. They answer phone calls at 9AM Pacific Time.

P.S.: stay away from my 11.5! They show as having that size available, but they also say they have a 13. The guy at the store said he'd order it for me, but for some reason, I think they actually don't have them, and they just listed up those sizes randomly.
