Haha, brilliant! Take some screengrabs of pairs you've made on the vans site, put 'em on ebay for waaaay over the price, then say they're limited edition and rare (and will take 5-6 weeks for delivery). Man, if that works, I'll have to hand it to him for the idea... haha

I've been seeing those "customs" on eBay over the past few days as well, and I'm amazed. Someone should post up an auction with his pics, and just put info on the auction, about where to go to customize your own pair. Set it to like $1 donation or something, for just sharing the info!
