they look WAY better in person than any other picture I've seen of them... In all the pics they dont look like they are black they look a little bit like a really dark Navy but in person there is no doubt that they are Black... One negative about them though is that the Leather is not stitched to the Suede/Tweed, they instead glued it and on one of mine its kind of peeling off already so I might get some shoe goo or just Super Glue it! Ha
