For some reason I felt compelled to buy the Yellow. Seems like the perfect Spring/Summer shoe... Passed on the rest. I feel like these will be over hyped in the beginning but possibly dip below retail at some point.

Wow, coral sold out in the first five minutes? Got a pair of the ice blues. Coral was my second choice, so if I see those below retail one of these days, I'll probably pick 'em up. I don't even know how overhyped these are, some of the ones on ebay weren't selling for $75.99... Should've gotten those before the dude hiked 'em up to $120! haha Still kinda wish it wasn't corduroy, but then I would've been tempted to get more, so I guess I'm glad. Or at least my wallet is. haha

well the only reason I'm saying they are overhyped is because the resellers are gonna push them down everyones throats for $120 than no one will buy and the price will drop. Not necesarily overhyped but I think you get what I'm sayin

Oh yeah, I definitely get what you mean. And it's a good thing, cuz this is one of those releases that is pretty "classic" as far as Vans goes. Doesn't get much more classic than checkered Vans!
