Oh wait, now that I see that they took the gray ollie pad off the natives, I don't really want 'em as much. They had some awesome old school flavor in the original pics, but now they are looking a lot like the pair I already have (probably the same pair marley has, haha).

i dont know, i think toning down the toe (getting rid of the light blue ollie pad) made them way less clowny....

btw these both come with 3 sets of laces...

Yeah, I can agree a bit there, but the contrast also made me think of old school Visions a bit more, which I loved! They're still awesome and tempting (especially with the notchback and since they kept the ollie pad, which I couldn't tell in the univ pics), but I'll probably seek out the old skool's first. Probably will be hitting you up when they're released, Brant! When are they dropping? Price?

Hopefully the laces are matching shades of red, blue and gray?

the red come with white, red, black. natives come with navy, black, and light blue.

i think it really is just original. as in they took the first iteration of the shoe to "s" out.

had a feeling but wasnt sure if the Original pertained to Rodney Smith in anyway or the shoe itself. Makes sense though for the shoes…

The old skools are doooope.

Old Skools seem to have this kinda fuzzy suede just like the one used way back when Vans was USA made. So maybe that's why they added the 'O.G.'. Or maybe they used the actual vintage suede, wouldn't that be cool?

Anyways they're dope, I don't even mind that perforated suede.

That perforated ollie area is sick! Never seen that on an Old Skool before, cut out to the contour of the stitching.

How's the fit/sizing compared to GR Old Skools and other Syndicate Old Skools (i.e. Cardiel/Pendletons)? I just don't like the fit of the Syndicate Old SKools, but love how GR Old Skools fit.
