I got an extra set in size 9.5, and the Dills in size 9.. Anyone wanna trade I'm looking for good stuff in size 9.5..

After all this time it still makes me wonder WTF the resellers are thinking? The WTAPS x Syndicates were a much (much) more quality release than these, yet assuming people will pay $300 for these is insane. Glad I got all three in my size. Selling/trading my 8.5 BTW.

Managed to cop some from a local shop...they added $14 to the sticker price.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this, the WTAPS had some decent suede on them but I think their no match to the quality on the Dills. That leather or w/e material that makes up that snakeskin, is some high quality shit! The texture, the thinkness, it straight up feels like snakeskin. But the quality isnt just in the upper, the canvas lining, the eyelets, the thin puff laces.. it's all gold! Also loved that they made it an Authentic Pro. Obviously I'm only speaking on behalf of the Dill Authentic, since thats the only one I own.

Heads up Primitive is dropping tomorrow, might as well pick up the half cabs while you're there.

Word. The textured snakeskin makes it look much much more awesome. I don't know what with the suede nowadays but they seem to stain after getting caught in the rain. Last time, the raindrop stains usually just goes away..

The snake is great...but the whole package is in the SK8-Lo. ha ha
Canvas is a shortcut...I like leather and the Dill/AVE mash-up makes up for it in the utilization of both materials - with metal eyelets...it's all good. The effort is in the SK8-Lo.

Terrismo: I have $500+ shoes ($500 in quality) and rain doesn't give a fuck. Buy weather spray.

EDIT: You all refrencing quality on a shoe that retails at <$70 need to take a step back. One can make a comparison amongst releases but to say one is more weather proof (without official claims) than another is just ridiculous.

I wore my AVE+Dill Sk8-Low on the rain and the leather is pretty good. Kept my feet dry. Haha.

UNDS'd my Dill authentic's over the weekend. Not the most breathable shoe out there, but I wasn't expecting that anyway! haha Pretty awesome overall. Just might need to install AC in the summertime. haha
