So how are these running? True to size? Go half size down like lots of syndicate and pro models lately? I found a spot and think I'll actually pull the trigger on some sk8-hi's... haha

Hi!I'll be getting a pair for a fellow OTWS member tomorrow and the spot im getting mine at doesn't have my size in the sk8 hi. I wear a size 8 in the sk8 hi so im wondering if anyone has a size 8 that they can obtain and get a size in whatever shoe you are and do a trade. Anyone let me know thanks!

I totally see what you guys are saying about being on top of it. Normally I wait and call way in advance and get everything set up, but the reason I've been absent on the forums and absent in the game is that I had no money, and didn't expect to have any, so it was hard to be ready for this release. Now I'm scrambling. I even had to liquidate my entire Wtaps collection, all but my Sk8 Mids and navy Era's, since I couldn't bring myself to ever let go of them. But I'm back now and ready to be part of this community again. I missed it, for releases like these, where you see the sleepers and the homies coming out. It's been such a hunt for me, and it brought me back to the old days. I got one Era lined up, so there's my pair of those. I'm looking to double up though so I can skate an Era. I just couldn't ever pay reseller price for something I'm gonna skate in. So I still need a 9.5 in those and then I'm set. I kinda want the Chukka's though... Vans x Wtaps produces the nicest Chukka's. The leather laces and suede, along with the embroidered bones, it all just looks so slick.

On a seperate note, coming back to this site now, I see that it's grown so well. There's solid members here, unlike on Hypebeast. I'm so proud of OTWS (sounds all cliche and lame but whatever) and the way things are run. There's maturity here and it's really cool.

@guam: haha damn, naw I wasn't working at the shop today. I'm usually there M-F, but we just got a new warehouse and I've been slaving in it the past week to set it up and get our holiday line ready and shipped out to our accounts. Hope everyone at the shop today found everything alright! My phone was blowing up all day for people hitting me up about them.. between trying to text the people at the shop, all my homies hitting me up and "friends" coming out of the wood works, to my bosses getting on me for trying to accommodate everyone all the while handling our brand at the warehouse... Man that's a crazy day! People on other forums with hook ups are getting like 120 pms and emails from lurkers for this release. It's insane.

Got my Chukka's and Sk8 hi's for a good price.

Glad those are under my belt. Now I should have my full set within a couple weeks or less

still waiting for my local skate shop to get these in :[ its kinda disheartening to see everyone pick up their pair and still not get word from my local skate shop when they might get them.
just a curious question, would a local mom and pop skate shop be able to jack up prices depending on how much the hype is?

Told you, roomie. :/ But if there is all the hype on them--the reason why people are calling so much--they will still buy.

I emailed SPoT about a few pairs to see if they would accept phone orders. Hoping to hear good news, otherwise I'm cool with my one pair of chukkas coming in.
