UNDS'ed mine tonight! I only wore 'em to a movie, but the stiffness actually didn't hinder the comfort at all. I actually really liked the feel on my feet. Not the most plush feeling shoes I've had (but then they all can't feel like Hosoi's...), but the firmness was nice. I noticed that the "cardboard" ankle padding actually seemed to mold to my foot and I had no hot spots rubbing up against it. When I took 'em off, I could feel where my ankles were.

Pretty good! Pretty, pretty, preeetttttty good!

Might have to seek out a blue and black pair eventually now that I'm digging these more now.

Edit: Nice review Guam! I noticed you mentioned the memory foam thing, too. Maybe it's cuz I've never had a pair of MC's and don't rock half cabs often, but I actually didn't mind it at all while wearing them. I'll have to give 'em a more extended wear to really see, and maybe compare to some other HC's that I have, but yeah. What's everybody else think that's given theirs a wear by now?

Yeah at first the stiffness feels like its going to be a problem but after some rockage time it really doesnt bother me at all.

$5 in Tijuana? That's where they were purchased by family members who used to always go down there. That's back in the day, before all the drug cartel problems.

So after getting Supreme's retro of the classic MC in it's original colorway, i figured a side by side comparison with the OG & the retro would be pretty cool. There actually is a number of structural differences other than the obvious tounge. Supreme did a great job imo...
