not sure i can comment publicly right now...but if you look at the posted photos from the exhibit you'll notice the burgundy is listed as cordovan, which may elude to a higher quality suede, and with higher quality usually comes a price increase.

Isn't cordovan just a shade of burgundy? I think they just chose to name the colorway that way.
