I heard it was 1500... and everyone said the Bodega chukkas were gonna be a hard shoe to come by but everyone who wanted them seemed to get em... this one shouldn't be too hard

Here is what they said about the Brooks release

"The model of choice is an Era, somewhat similar to an Authentic. The leather on these is probably some of the best we’ve seen used on any Vans. It also has lovely smooth lining with a proper cushioned inner sole (not like the ones in your canvas Vans). They have also improved the sole unit by using their new technology called Power Transfer technology, where the soles have been stiffened to deliver a firmer performance. Unique features are leather Vans tab on the side with the Vans logo engraved into it, the noticeable vans vault tab on the back of the outer sole, copper coloured eyelets, and leather (rope style) laces. Also, features a full leather tongue with an embossed skull design. They have produced a box with the same skull design that’s featured on the tongue, and they also come with a soft carry case. Just to make the shoe a little bit more desirable, they are in limited quantities. Only 1000 pairs have been made, which have been individually numbered."

Can't wait! Been waiting for this release for quite awhile. Wow, they actually numbered these too, so that'll make them a definite collector's piece.

I'm definitely trying to get these... the leather is on point but what do you expect from Brooks England!? I almost want the saddle just to get it! Lets be team ya'll and stay on top of this release!

Checked with my guy and apparently a store in Amsterdam is selling them (290sqm).
Funny...I was in Amsterdam last weekend and decided to skip that store because it's quite a long way off my regular route through the city. F*ck.

Damn, that happened to me before, with the What The Dunks, at Active in Burbank.

what is it that you hate? The urge to want more shoes? If so your not alone.

The fact that a set of numbers etched onto a pair can make it that much more desirable to me.

And being an avid collector of bicycles I really cant pass the Brooks shoe up.
