You dropped $840 on doubling this set? Damn man that's respectable. I have seven pairs of Wtaps sk8 mid's, wish I could afford to stock up on these zipperbacks. With your size, you can't go wrong, either, since you can always sell your extra's during hard times.

Even though I'm new here, I have been collecting for a long time so occasionally i find value in certain releases. Not for resale but the ones I know I will regret not doubling up on. Plus, I wouldn't commit to anything that would affect me financially at this point in my life.

Shaztech...I lived in Japan a long time ago. Great place. Looking back I wish I knew what I do now, so I could appreciate all they have to offer.

I second that. So bummed I slept on those.

They would be a perfect shoe (ONE COMPLAINT...just one) if the leather had the same characteristics of the Dill Syndicate Authentic. On my pair, the snake pattern isn't pressed as deep as on the Dills and the leather doesn't seem as substantial. Other than that the Chukka Low is in my top 3 silhouettes for Vans (and is forgiving as far as being forced to size up .5). So glad they chose that model.

I thought the same thing. As soon as I got my Dill's in and realized how much better the quality was, I sold my Rattles instantly, on a count of I needed money and I never even wore the Rattles.
