Hey y'all. I'm generally not a fan of the Nike Air Force 1 Sneakers, but this I found a crazy limited hi-top colorway at Kith in NYC -- purely by chance (testing my Sk8-hi love). This is the AF1 Presidential, or what I like to call, the AF1-AF1. The shoe is an extremely limited release that dropped just a few weeks ago at select accounts. If you couldn't guess by now, it's an Air Force One themed set of kicks. Anyway, I leave all the details to the video I made about theme a few days ago. P.S. I have to agree with the respected SamColt12 on the disappointing workmanship; it's totally on the sloppy side.

I was finally able to pick up the one pair of Vans I wanted badly all year from some apparent restock at Nice Kicks: the Vault Sk8-hi Zip LX. It happens to be the blue version, although I was really hoping for black -- at this point I'm taking what I could find (I'm starting to think 11.5 is a size that goes super quick). Better yet, I was able to score them for a crazy discount of $80 ($60 off). It seems like these where the one set of Vaults that everyone had to get their hands on as soon as they released last spring. I'm still hunting for the black pair in 11.5, but for now, check out my video overview below:

11.5 is a size most Vault accounts don't even bother to order & usually when they do get 11.5 there's only 1 pair. Those Zip back Sk8-Hi's are damn near impossible to find in an 11.5. Anyone who wears a 6.5,7,7.5, 11.5 and sometimes 13, knows the struggle of hunting for a good pair of Vans.

You completely skipped size 12

I see what you mean, but they all carry 12's as a standard size while the ones mentioned by Daniel aren't often carried by retailers. 12 is just SEVERELY under counted as a popular size. In my opinion, from what I see, 8, 9, 9.5, 11, and 12 are the most common sizes, while they only bank on 8-11 selling big numbers.

I always see 11s and 12s, haha -- so frustrating. For sure less on the 12s, though. Vans DQM here in NYC might have a better account for special orders by next year (so a slaes rep told me). There used to be an account at the now defunct 99x that would straight-up order any Vaults I wanted. I wasn't so into the limited shoe game at the time, however.

Anyway, I have some special pickups both new and slightly old that I'll be posting videos on in the next few days while I'm off. Stay tuned.

Are you drooling yet? These kicks need to introduction, I'm sure. So I recently remembered I ended up getting a second pair of
the OG rising sun Hosois years ago when they were released. Let's take a look at what this never-worn pair looks like against
the pair I wore religiously for a few years in highschool and then some -- figured it'd be fun to break the ice.

Jesse's right. 12 is a common size, shops might not get more than 2 or 3 pairs at a time, but it is a standard size that every shop gets. Unfortunately they do under estimate the amount of 12's that are in demand.
