Under The Palms

I gave like how many weeks?! Yeah, a lot of OG members/regulars didn't order. Not sure if they're strapped for cash, or if they just weren't feeling the design. My friend and I specifically wanted to not have the tee directly relate to Vans, or any particular shoe. We could have easily taken the route that most would assume when making a tee for a sneaker related group of individuals, but to be honest, that's overdone. Vans would never collaborate with a brand or group who puts out stuff like that. I'm being a wishful thinker, but you never know! We only wanted it to relate to the colors, so that it could easily be worn with your favorite pair(s) of Vans, most notably the Syndicate x W)Taps series. Hell, we were heavily inspired by what the Japanese brands put out. Simple single color hits are what's dope right now, and it's timeless anyways. That's the same stuff that our boy Crisone has been putting out for us! Did you guys really want another pair of crossbones, or one more cheetah print design for your AVE Old Skools? That would be a waste of money for sure, as the animal print trend dies out. Was it the price? $20 is the same as what the old pocket tees cost...maybe even a few $$$ less. If anything, I know that some bought strictly to represent, support, and be a part of us here at OTWS. That's good enough for me!

Oh yeah, there definitely was plenty of time and the design is awesome(probably my favorite of the OTWS designs)! Not sure why I held off on it other than saving money for traveling, shoes and concerts right now. I may still order since this is the first OTWS shirt available in small. But man, DisneyLand tickets are expensive and my sk8-hi zips aren't buying themselves! haha

Naw, still awaiting the printer. For some reason, most T-shirt printers have trouble keeping an exact schedule. Not sure if it's just the nature of the business, or what. Perhaps it's cause our orders aren't super big like they're used to, but yeah, believe me, I'm waiting for my tees too. I never printed up 3X in the sample/promo run.

Update 6/18: I stopped into the printer today to drop off some sample tees for color reference, and it looks like he's gonna burn the screens today, and start printing tomorrow! Sorry for the delay peeps, but it's moving along (at a snail's pace). I'll keep you posted!

Update 6/29: Tees are finally ready, and I am picking them up today! Can't wait!

Tees have all been packaged, and labels are all attached. Took all day, haha! Will be shipping out on Monday everyone!
