The Brooks Era 45 LX is now available at Blends....
The shoes are $100 and the seat is $300... I sized up from a 8.5 to a 9 in em FYI.
Also got #55 (double nickle... kinda fitting since that Blends is blocks from LA's Skid Row/ 5th St aka "The nickle")
I will post picks in the shoe pick up section in a bit....

Wow. Seat is $300? If I wasn't bank rolling a trip to Big Bear this weekend I'd be buying a pair tomorrow.

Brooks saddles usually run around 150 and up... so for a limited edition one its not that bad.
it might have been the saddle / seat combo was $300... which would make the seat $200 which would be reasonable.
I didnt want to check it out for too long or I might have left with it.... and no cash to pay bills.

Ok. That just sounds like alot to me. When I spoke the guy at Blends OC a while ago he said people were asking about the seat non stop. They expected those to sell out before the shoes. I wonder if people anticipated the $300 price tag.

The saddle is $195 at Bows & Arrows.
Shoes are $100.

Thanks to 5150Marley (Jim) getting BlendsLA to hold an 11.5 and 12 for me, I was able to pick which pair I wanted. I went there on Saturday, and picked up the 12. Thanks man, and best part, was my girl bought them for me for Christmas, so I went to FCLA after that, and picked up some new kicks...pics later.

argh that was you that had them on hold!! lol I couldnt get them right away cause they were on hold lol had to have the SD Blends send a 12 to Costa Mesa cause SD cant do phone orders! glad you locked a pair down though

Bay Area people, just left Huf on Hayes and they just got their shipment in, I didn't ask the price, but it looks like they'll be releasing tomorrow.....
