I believe they arrived around July 2010? Along with the dar blue (peacoat / marshmallow) pair that I copped.
I'm actually gonna say it's from 2005. I had a black/white and red/black pair just like that. Pretty sure this pair was included in that release. That release was my first Vault purchase! #memorylane
I think the release you got, Sam, was more monochromatic and the difference in checks was leather/suede, rather than color? Also, the toe bumper is flat on this pair, which is consistent with the '05 release. It's tough finding resources on Vault from that era, though!
Edit: Guess I was typing/researching while Erwin was posting!

I agree with yalls logic.
AND the need for a Vault database! Details are sporadic at best. There isnt a vault website that I know of anymore like the one that used to show the releases.
We should start a spot to pool our knowledge and archive vault details for all to access in the future. Adding this resource data should bring more hits / people to OTWS as well?

Thanks for the info fellas. You are right about the lack of info on these older Vaults. I coudn't even find a picture of these anywhere online.

Agreed Sam! It could be similar to the Syndicate pricing thread, too. But much tougher to build since there's not as much solid information to start from. I'm sure we could all pool our knowledge and get something going, though!

Lets get it started. We can still google search some vault pics online before they disappear.

^ Sz 11. I'd be happier with an 11.5 but they work ok. I'll rock with them for a long time to come.

these are 2006 vaults and im pretty sure they are called '99 LX', all upper and the lining is leather and its buttery. grabbed them recently in the black/white colorway, another attempt of mine to wear slip-ons... but i just cant lol
9.5 us, 7/10 condition or so, would let them go for like 50$$$$ + shipping but im located in Poland so dont get too excited

An archive would be awesome, and perhaps some of our friends who work at Vans could help us out, especially if they kept all the old order catalogs. That would be a lot of help! There's just so damn many of them! You've all seen that Syndicate list, and that one took a minute to do! 1,2,3...NOT IT!
