Thanks! It'll be a lot better once we can move in come Jan 31!
It's terrifying committing to so much money, but once you crunch the numbers and see that you can basically pay what you are in rent, but towards something that's actually yours... it's a good feeling.

Finally got my Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L.. got it at Samys Camera no tax sale plus a canon instant rebate. 
Already have a 10-22 EF-S and a 50mm 1.8 Mark I.
All thats left is a 70-200 f/4 IS and maybe a new tripod and flash?
Cant afford a 70-200 f/2.8 with or without IS..... so its not even an option plus that thing is heavy!

Wasnt any fun stuff just goin back so my mom could see me one last time... she had stage 4 cancer (incurable)
I got there Wed and she passed the next Tuesday.... then my buddy's mom passed on Wed (1 hr away in NC) and Thanksgiving was Thursday.
Friday I shopped for a black suit (BLACK FRIDAY) and attended my friends moms funeral on Sat and my Moms on Sunday and helped out till I left Wed back to L.A.
When I got back to LA I had to deal with some school stuff (getting an incomplete in my Art class that I have I year to finish) also had to wrap up the photo gig and get paid for it.
Still hasnt clicked that mom is gone.... Holidays will suck for sure this year.
Even getting this new lens doesnt really make me happy... Im in a funk
Gonna be a lonely holiday without the folks coming out.... gotta feeling I will be sleeping a lot and isolating.
