So I got the Hosoi Notchback's that Bill linked in the ebay head's up thread (thanks again!) and they're pretty awesome other than the toe of the right shoe… Looks like it was treated with something or maybe even rubbed to the point where the suede fibers were smoothed out or something? Anybody ever seen anything like this? Any idea how I can get them to match? I actually don't mind the look, so I'd either like to figure out a way to get both shoes to have that look if it's from some sort of treatment or to bring back the normal suede look on that right one. Not sure if it's a case for Jason Markk or not, either. Might give it a quick whirl just to see. Maybe the brush will bring back the fibers, but I don't want to discolor anything either by washing out any dye...
Any ideas?

Use a suede bristle brush. If you got a Jason Markk brush with your cleaner, use that, DRY. Circular motions. Done deal. Any medium hardness plastic bristle brush will work. Fine horsehair brushes are only good for cleaning dust and stuff off of suede shoes. Those will clean up just fine. Always try to clean suede and nubuck using dry methods, and resort to shampoo cleaners second. If you get scuffs or marks on the suede or nubuck, use a suede eraser, which is the natural rubber gum art ones, that crumble as you erase with them.
Awesome come-up btw!

Thanks guys^^
As for those notchbacks I can only think I a sided dye, usually shoe repair places have it if you don't want to mess with it your self.

Got these a few days ago. Still a bit unsure of them... I don't like camo, but EVERYTHING else on these is so on point!

Great pickup on the Hosoi's. I paid full retail for my black and red pair, but scored the blue ones from Active for $25 on clearance. Just got these OG Style 36's in the other day from St. Alfred for $40 plus shipping.
SlipOn...hold on to them, cause I'm making some dope apparel to go along with them, as well as the patches still!

Exactly how I feel, slipon! So much cool tech and details on 'em, but I rarely wear anything camo (although I do like tiger camo). Especially with all the rednecks in walmart camo around here. haha
