They did they just kept restocking , they obviously should a cooked. More even batch of sk8 his to authentics releases/restocks tho...cuz now they're stuck w/ bunch of authentic that would have quickly sold had they been sk8s....

The last (vans/supreme) release was the Velvets, and those disappeared quick
Do you think they made more Bruce Lee Authentics than Velvet Eras?
you would think
Supreme plus
Bruce Lee equals
instant sell out.
that said - i didn't buy them , I am just not that into authentics.
and just tiling a picture of Bruce Lee is not enough to excite me- design wise.
When vans/supreme do come through with good design and hype me with super rarity
I will buy an authentic (or 2 in the case of the Fucking Awesome drop)

all Vans x Supreme releases are produced to the same amount in terms of quantity.

Then why haven't the sk8 his restocked as many times as the authentic?

Seems like the PCL's were produced in way less numbers. At least in larger sizes.

Apparently if the stock in the store doesn't sell they'll use that stock originally allocated for the stores to sell online rather than sit on the shelves for weeks on end. Hence restocks at random times. Makes sense that if the sk8-hi flew out online and in the stores there's be less chance of online getting anymore.

I don't think that's true. Especially going from 96 to now. I think more are produced

You were right! I wonder why that is? Seems like a bad business decision since it's cutting off sales.

I'm speaking in terms of now... the past is irrelevant in this case.
Production may have jumped a little from 2010 to 2011 ('96 obviously seeing FAR less pairs made than 2004-Present). However, that wasn't the question in the first place. Both examples given were releases from this season alone. Both having the same production numbers.
Ex1: Velvet sold out online and instore in which case they stayed sold out online.
Ex2: Bruce Lees sold out online but not instore. Not wanting to hold on to the pairs they put the ones that didn't sell instore, online. This explains the restocking.
