Hmm, it does have that JDM shape of Sk8-Hi's, and it is from LA Avenue, right? However, the W)Taps crossbones have been faked, although none look this good. Could it just be a Japanese version, mimicking the W)Taps release? The front toe bumper slopes down in a different way than what we're used to seeing, but we aren't experts on Japan-releases either.

I saw something about these somewhere and it was just a normal Japan release made to mimic the Wtaps.

Definitely Japan Release. You can tell by the foxing.

Hehe, yeah we are all noobs. Thanks for schooling us. So this wasn't a Syndicate release then, just a Vans.co.jp x W)Taps collabo then? Makes sense, since they're a JDM brand first, and then when they collaborated with Syndicate, they decided to sort of offer this shoe to the rest of the world, with some slight variations, and more models to put it on. Cool. Now we all know what these are, and we can spread the correct info, if asked about them.
