Under The Palms

Hey guys and gals, I stumbled across this forum about a week ago and decided to introduce myself. I've been wearing exclusively Vans for about 10 years now and started to realize a few years ago that it was becoming a bit of an obsession. I currently have about 50 pairs, most of which get worn. I appreciate them so I can't not wear them haha. Luckily for me, I have enough that they never get worn out really. I've had a few for 7 plus years and only worn them once or not at all in some cases. I was going through some of them that no longer have boxes and snapped a quick pic to get this thread started, I'll be taking pics with my real camera tomorrow after my trip to IKEA for more shelving!

Niiice! Welcome Matt, and I'm a little envious that all of your pairs are worn! If I had enough room to create shelving or storage for all of my pairs, I would probably wear more of them. That's the downside to stacking boxes of kicks. No access!

yeah storage is probably the only reason some of mine dont get worn. Great stuff and hope you enjoy the forum. I say it to most everyone but be ready to start spending some more money. I'm pretty sure we all experienced an increase in purchased shoes after joining the forum. I know I did.

Welcome man!!!!! Its awsome when someone joins the forum with a SOLID appreciation for the GR classics! Cuz u just know when they start getting more on the "inside" of vans collecting it doubles yur enjoyment!

Thanks for the kind welcome guys! Started working on a better organizational situation for everything yesterday and am happy with how it's coming along.

Here is a quick pic of my new workspace in my bedroom/Vans vault lol


And a few pieces of signage I have collected that I plan to frame and hang. Still trying to find a Vans rug for under my desk


More updates to follow, I still need more shelving and a chair for my desk, but have an idea I'm toying with to make a chair from some of my old skate decks.
