Under The Palms

It's been a minute since Vans has collaborated with SoCal based sneaker mecca Undefeated. The last collaboration project with Vans, included 5 Sk8-hi models, adorned with their "U-Man" mascot, done up in popular NBA team colors. Well, a teaser pic has surfaced, of their new project with Vans, this time choosing the Era LX, a timeless classic. From the makes of the picture, they have decided to go the tonal route, and match up the sole, with the base color, with a white foxing stripe shared across each colorway. Check out that heel tab, with the Undefeated logo. I'm excited for this release, anybody else?

No overlap? What kind of shit is that?!

The White colorway looks to have a red foxing, but the suede looks like butter. Looking forward for some more pictures as they surface.

I thought that was interesting, too. While I can see how some could perceive that as "sloppy," it's also part of the Vans aesthetic. I don't mind it here, though. Gives it a unique touch.

Excited yes, but need to see more pics. Can't decide from just the heel tab haha. But usually UNDFTD doesn't let down, looks like Guam is gonna have to do a pickup for a homie???

black and the blue are looking nice. i like the texture on the suede, it reminds me of a tennis ball. what do you guys think about the foxing?

these are really nice. The white especially. hmmm. looks like i'm going broke.

I'm digging them all except the reds. Gonna have to see those in person.
But these are dope, especially the whites and the blacks.
