Under The Palms

Hi all,

I am mattes and I got my first pair of Vans in 1983 when I was a BMXing teenager. I am from Germany but live in New Zealand now.

I specialize in collecting the good old US made Vans. Here are some favourites from my humble collection. Not all of them sparkingly clean. Well, some of them look quite thrashed, but they had a full and meaningful life, worn by me All of them pre-1995.

Awesome. Vans shoes had such a great shape to them back then, where the rubber was a little bit taller. I wish they could make all of them like that now.
