Vans has announced the re-issue of four of the brand’s band project sneakers especially for South by Southwest Music Festival next month. The limited-edition Circle Jerks, Motörhead II, Bad Brains and Rise Against sneakers will be up for sale with only 150 pairs available. 50 pairs will be available during SXSW from March 12 – 15, with each shoe going on sale at noon every day at the pop-up shop in the Vans Village. The other 100 pairs will go up on Vans.com the following day. This is only the second time Vans has allowed a re-release of iconic archived band collaborations since the first time at SXSW 2012. Look out for the scheduled release dates below.
March 12 – Circle Jerks Vans Old Skool
March 13 – Motörhead II Vans Rowley Classic
March 14 – Bad Brains Vans Sk8-Hi
March 15 – Rise Against Classic Slip-On

Man I need those Bad Brains Sk8-Hi. Circle Jerks and Bad Brains are two of my favorite bands ever.

Does anyone know what time tomorrow the sale goes live?

Haha, I was randomly up at 5 as well and checked. Pretty sure they were just updating the site and putting them in the store, but since they weren't available yet, they said sold out. I've noticed Vans does that anytime they add something to the shop that isn't ready to be purchased yet.

Yeah! I had a friend call customer service a couple of minutes ago and they told her that the site is being updated, guess they will be up soon.

Anyway link was already open on my 5s, I reloaded and I was able to see the shoes, placed an order for a 9.5, I can go back to work now, sleepy as hell lol. Bad Brains next.

Re-Seller already attacking on eBay

If somebody were to tell me that these would be sought after now days, I would've bought every pair I came across at The Rack a few years back. There were sooo many there!

I'm gonna put it out there and say that I actually prefer this new re-release of the Bad Brains with the yellow stitching as opposed to the black on the toe box. So stoked I managed to get someone stateside to snag a pair before they sold out.
