theMenace Acid Wash Series 1 (1of1*) x Levi's® x Vans® Sk8-Hi
"continuing to glue denim is simply blasphemous"
With a personal love for vintage acid wash denim and added encouragement from fellow sneaker customizer EF, I decided to make the "ultimate sacrifice" and chop up a couple pairs of otherwise hard to find acid wash Levi's® 501s which were my own size I might add and use them on a couple new sneaker projects. Taking scissors to the jeans were a challenge in of itself but once the denim was laid out and made into panels I knew the end product would be worth it. The pictures should let you decide for yourself. This is the first pair of the series and is a special 1of1* release aswell.
Materials:
- 1 Standard Issue Vans® Sk8-Hi
- Vintage Levi's® 501 Black Acid Wash Denim
- 1 Pair of Black Laces
- 1 Pair of White Laces ( Not Pictured )
Features:
A signature fully stitched Vans® Sk8-Hi upper. Consisting of a Vintage Levi's® 501 Black Acid Wash Denim upper with white stitching. Light fray for a worn appeal. Classic Levi's denim label stitched onto back right heel. Laced with flat black laces.
