So... yeah

very true, very true, and i left that open for the very point of discussion....the idea being that it was a tribute to the great BAsketball SHoe...im probably just rambling but i feel like tet really made a proper tribute...and that diamond shoe is just a lazy copy. where does it start, and where does it end, i know....

LOL those diamonds are not to bad still the Bashes look great. Still not sure how I feel about the Hosoi's but the WTap Bash was ill.

personally I like the Hosoi's much better than the Wtaps. Not a big fan of the cup sole and glad they made this one with the OG Vulc sole

You see so many more companies taking form Vans... and for you Nike fans take a look at any Nike 6.0 or SB (not the Dunks) and tell me it wasn't taken from a Vans model...

I'm with you on the Cup sole. Something about it's full black grain leather is really appealing to me. The other 2 colorways dont do it for me.

Then again I never really checked out the Hosoi's

yeah I like the upper on the Wtaps its just the cup sole kills a lot of dope designs for me. If the Wtaps were a vulc sole I would have much rather had them.

You'll probably see these on "enter your favorite rapper here" since they're all starting to wear Diamond.

HUF's line ain't that bad.
Crooks' line looks like a photocopy of some famous vans models

Diamond brand sucks as a whole. Terrible label.

Most brands that are tied to a colorway, are pretty much just riding their waves still, and they're still connected in the industry to the other successful brands, but they will probably have to change their brand eventually, because they already went mainstream, in a cool guy's world where that's not cool. Who's next? That's the question. Staple with the Pigeon colorway. Diamond with the Tiffany colorway. DEAD (Except their shoes. Their shoe collabs will continue to live on, ONLY in those colorways). UNDFTD doesn't have to design that way. They've made a ton of different stuff that didn't rely on a colorway. Granted, quite a bit of their releases revolve around the military theme, but they all are uniquely done. Bodega, too. Although, they do use a lot of Olive green, hehe. Patta doesn't have to stick to a color, to have numerous hits. Neither does Solebox. I can go on and on.

Once again...who's next?

That actually depends on how you look at it. if you are looking at it from skateboarding aspect, diamond is one of the OG label coming from 90's, which i find it really awesome and I fully support them. but if you are looking at what diamond has become these days, I personally think that making shoes is a terrible idea to do.

ehh ive never been a fan of diamond and these shoes are just....horrible
