Under The Palms

this was a personal pair for me and happened to be my first time working on a pair of half cabs. I avoided double stitching the toe cap and rear panel because I ran out of needles and just wanted to wear them right away. They looked pretty clean as is and so I just ended it there since it was a pair for myself.

Cool idea, and not bad for a first time reconstruction job. Stitching is noticeably off...use a hand-awl? I'm sure if/when I decide to do one, it will look nothing close to yours! Also, can you show your stitch method?

This isn't my first recon, my first pair was on a vans 106.

The stitching was all messed up on the HCs because i kept breaking needles and what not...but they still look nice on the feet!

And yes...purely sewing awl.

I am no where near Hush's level. He's developed his own methods that make his customs look factory. I'm not that clean yet, but hopefully I will be!
