the photos appear to show them in the standard suede toe and heel combo, with canvas/embroidered sidepanels. the sk8-hi is the most difficult to tell because it is out of focus in almost all the shots, except this one below...but i think i see enough contrast in the burgundy's to make it canvas side as well.

You know, the best part about this for me is that Brant and I talked about possible outcomes to another Wtaps release last time when the mids dropped, and I said that it'd be burgundy. I'm stoked to see I was right!

I bet you're right, Thane. They probably did scrap it since no one liked them. Personally, I would rock the 003 and 005 Slip Ons any day. I hope they use the same rubber compounds as the 005 and 006 releases. It's without a doubt the best quality, and it cleans up well every time. I'm concerned, though, that for some reason the toe looks to curl more than the previous releases, which could be because of a different type sole mixture. I hope they come in black boxes like the OG releases though. I'm looking forward to these!

I dig the tongue too, I hope they keep it. I think it represents the coming together of the two brands a lot better, and makes them a great piece to add to your collection.

I also really like that they took the writing off the Vans stripe along the Sk8 Hi, like in the 003 release. The writing is SICK, but to me the blank stripe is more iconic.
