Re: Shoe Pickup Thread
Here are two pair that I recent acquired...
The "Popsicarus" Sk8-Hi I got on a whim to wear to the "Tour da Fat" ride in a few weeks... unless I find something better to wear??
Dont know if I can pull them off..... what do you guys/gals think??
Hopefully the Popsicarus are not too big... I normally wear an 8.5 instead of 9.
The "City Pack" Sk8-Hi's (San Diego) I got but probably will return.. they were a Nordstroms rack purchase.

Re: Shoe Pickup Thread
Everybody always trying to squeeze that last dollar out of their shoes! And for what? $10-$20? That's still eBay fee territory. It's going to another OTW homie anyways! Maybe they'll have some shit they wanna unload later on, and will hook you back up, since you both wear the same size. I hook people up for cheap, cause I want the same done for me. Doesn't always happen, but just sayin'.
Re: Shoe Pickup Thread
I wanted these since they came out & the only place I got lucky & found these at was Tactics.com. Unless you're a size 13 or 14, you're stuck. You can't find these anywhere else (not that I know of). I let these sit on that site for so long to see how low the price could go. Finally got down to $30 and snatched the last smallest size (7) they had. Good luck in finding them though, I've looked everywhere.Rase23 wrote:Where did you pick these up from?

Did Vans make the "Popsicarus" on anything besides a Sk8-Hi?

Re: Shoe Pickup Thread
My Customs came in today! Thought I'd make a blog entry about it as well. First pair I made was an olive pair. NExt up for order, is my Carhartt inspired pair!

I also picked these babies up! Consolidated "Drunk BS's". There's a little bit of controversy about these. Designed by Consolidated skateboards owner, as a call out to Todd Bratrud, an ex designer for them, who designed the Send Helps, among a few other SB dunks you might know of. Google around, and you'll find the story.

What I picked up at Nordstroms Rack today.....
They grey Vault Half Cabs on the far right are labeled as (Lvevi) Snake/Gunmetal as the color, they have suede half cab patches on the black patterned tongue and side and grey soles.
The light grey ones in the middle are the Philly's from the City Pack line.
The far left are some mids with Risk Red soles that reminded me of a pair I had as a kid... will also be good for the 4th of July.

I have those gray halfcabs on the right...very nice. The tongue is trippy too. It's got like a snakeskin pattern on a velvet tongue.

You are correct Guam... they also have those slick soles with the wave perforation. I like the suede half cab patches!!!DJGuamstyles wrote:I have those gray halfcabs on the right...very nice. The tongue is trippy too. It's got like a snakeskin pattern on a velvet tongue.
Do you know what collection they came from??

Re: Shoe Pickup Thread
Just part of the LVEVL pack. The insole says California too, so it's kinda confusing. Now days, there's California releases that aren't Vaults, and are sold at some regular Vans accounts. These are definitely Vaults, and are just a dope look overall. Gotta love the weird sole as well, with the stripes. Gonna be hard to clean.
