SHOEHEAD627

Post by SHOEHEAD627 »

Hey,

My names Nick and I'm in the Bay Area of California.
I started collecting shoes about 2 years ago, never really got a big collection going.
I mainly went with Jordans with one SB for a really long time.
I always wore vans as an everyday shoe but never the collab stuff until recently.
I'm always looking for vans heat size 12-13 so hit me up!
I've probably talked to a couple of you guys on ISS which is the forum I use most.

Here are some pics of my favorites through the days:

Update 12/26/10:

My only pair of SB's which were one of the most comfy shoes I've ever had.

Great quality but I can't pull them off for some reason.

Nice collection man. Quality over quantity. Most of those J's don't come cheap either, especially if you started collecting about 2 years ago...that was primetime hype! Welcome to OTWS, and hopefully you stick around. We try to help each other out, if we can, so contribute and join in the conversation, so we can get to know you.

Yea I noticed just strolling through here that you guys give heads up and everything and that's one reason why I joined, because it's cool to help others out and to be helped out too haha.

By the way, thanks for the comments on the Jordans, I don't have most of them any more but I loved 'em while I did.

Well, at least you got rid of them before they started crumbling! That's my dilemna with mine now. I have 99 Fire Red 5s, and 99 Cement 4s, and they are fine right now, but I'm heavy, and I know they'll crumble eventually, or at least crack real bad. I should just sell them to someone who can enjoy them, instead of me destroying them, haha. My Yeezys will eventually do the same thing in 10 years too, if not worn. It's a big hurdle to jump over, for sure.

Yea I'm not small either. Haha
But I never unDs'd the OG Metallics and my 99's were already worn in.
I think the Cement 4's you might want to get rid of while you can but 5's for some reason last a little longer that 4's. (I think you still might be able to un-ds a pair of 99 5's)

Yeah, my 5s were worn like once. They aren't even creased in the toebox. I'll have to see.

What's up Nick.......Welcome to OTWS.

I'm from the Bay Area as well. Cool J's too, those started my "shoe collecting" as well, went from mostly everything to a pair of 01' WC3's and BC3's.

White Sup Check HC's.....dope.

Thanks for the compliments...and yea I still love some jordans I just think vans work as more of an every day shoe for me even if they're exclusive.
